GRADING

We currently offer grading services to PSA (US), BGS, and TAG.


Newtro is the first and ONLY TAG Official Authorised Dealer in the Region.


Pre-grading is free for submissions (excluding volume bulk submissions), or $2 per card for non-submissions. By authorising the pre-grading service, you acknowledge and accept that following:

a) In-person Evaluation: The pre-grading must be done in person and any online pre-grading is not reliable as defects may not be apparent on the photo or video;


b) No Guarantee: Your card is assessed by us based on our experience and expertise only and has no impact or influence on the final grade determined by the grading facility;


b) Advice: We provide advice based on your purpose of grading (such as personal or to sell immediately), and any advice provided by our pre-graders are of their personal opinion only and should not be relied upon to make financial decisions.


Slab breaking service is free for submissions (excluding volume bulk submissions), or $5 per slab for non-submissions. By authorising the slab breaking service, you acknowledge and accept the following:

a) Risk Acknowledge: Cracking the slab involves a risk of damage to the card. While we take the utmost care, this process is not without risk, and any damage that occurs is assumed by you;


b) Grade Nullification: The current grade of your card will be rendered null and void once the slab is cracked. This means that your card will not longer hold its current grade;


c) Regrading: If you choose to resubmit your card for grading, be aware that there is no guarantee that it will receive the same grade, and may receive a lower grade.


Upcharge: If PSA determines that your card's post-grading fair value exceeds the value cap of the service Tier you chose, they move that card to the correct tier. You then pay the difference between the tiers (aka "upcharge"). PSA does not reveal their reference point to determine the fair value of the post-graded card.

Terms & Conditions:

  1. Once your item is submitted for grading, any fee paid is non-refundable.
  2. Amount paid upon submission is the chosen grading Tier base charge.
  3. If the value of your graded slab exceeds the max value of the Grading Tier you chose, you will be upgraded to the relevant tier by PSA and Newtro will pay the difference first to expedite the shipping, on the mutual understanding that if you do not re-pay the difference to Newtro, you will not be able to collect your graded slab and all rights of the item shall vest in Newtro, at its sole discretion.
  4. Items are insured for up to the item’s Tier’s max declared value to and from the Grading Facility and Newtro.
  5. Items will only be sent to the grading facility if the minimum quota per Tier is reached at the submission closing date.
  6. Newtro is not a storing facility. Upon return to Newtro, items will be held for max 3 months. After which, all rights of the item shall vest in Newtro, at its sole discretion. Please ensure to collect your items as soon as possible.
